OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2013, the Fort Worth Vaqueros Futbol Club has become a formidable force in the National Premier Soccer League's Lone Star Conference, bringing excitement and community spirit to the pitch since 2014. Our journey began with a vision to create a soccer club that not only competes at a high level but also gives back to the community. With each season, we've made that vision a reality.

In 2016, we launched our High Performance Academy, a non-profit dedicated to nurturing young talent and promoting the love of soccer among local youth. This commitment to community development and excellence on the field culminated in 2019 when we clinched the Lone Star Conference championship and secured a spot in the 2020 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup.

Though 2020 threw us a curveball with the global pandemic, the Vaqueros proved its resilience by safely competing in the locally created Roja League. This experience only strengthened our bond with the community and reaffirmed our dedication to the beautiful game.

Returning to the NPSL in 2021, we've seen steady growth and continued success, which led to the establishment of our Youth Club in 2023. This new addition is a testament to our ongoing commitment to developing soccer talent at all levels.

We take on the 2024 season under Coach Tony Merola and the squad that Coach Merola has been building for the past 2 season. Non-negotiable this year, our qualification in the NPSL playoffs!
